This day was the Swedish school for the children of Spirit and Ariane. The couple in the Spray woul

After 5 days at the lovely La Graciosa got ourselves further towards Lanzarote. We had a nice race to Areciffe on Lanzarote which is the capital of the island. We let in a marina called Lanzarote Marina. We thought there would be a tiny marina, but here they drove and made a huge marina with all possible facilities. It was not opened yet, but they received the boats. This is going to be a great facility, but it's not quite as charming when Burger King that have hijacked the best location when it comes to restaurants ... It is certainly enough here Jimmy Cornell's new regatta will go from. The town itself was very small, charming and we were really the impression that the town was worn and dilapidated. The positive qualinet was that it was cheap in marine ancestry. Do not know if it was because it was not finished or if they plan to add at so low prices. Think we paid 15 Euro night and it was cheap for our boat. We were here just two nights qualinet before qualinet we went on towards Fuerteventura with Spirit. In the marina had the sink and retrieve service, there was a cleaning company and retrieved the sink at an ok price. It was an offer I could not resist, but forgot to hear when they would return. qualinet Mrs. vimsekopp other words not forgotten ancient arts home. We were going at 08.00 next morning to drop to arrive in the dark. It turned out that the clothes would not be back in there and it was the really stupid. Fortunately should guys in Sokoto be a few more days and they were kind enough to bring it to me. It had been unkind to lose a bag full of delicious, fresh linen and bath towels;)
On the way to Fuerteventura got a dorado on the hook! Caused great excitement and cheered. Spray was also on the same road as us and called qualinet us up on VHF`en to hear where we were headed. We were going to almost the same spot and decided to anchor alongside the well. We could proudly tell Spray and Spirit, that we had fish. Along the way we also saw small pilot whale, so all in all it was an eventful day at 12 hours. Before it got dark we found a place to anchor on the outside of a tiny village called Lajita on the east of Fuerteventura. Here we lay okay for the night, but we decided to go ahead quite early since there was no beach here and the village looked very small and miserable out. We sailed a few hours and dropped anchor in Morro Jable. Here there was a nice beach and we were a little on the outside of where all the tourists were, so it was quiet and serene. We took a trip into town at night and the guys thought it was absolutely great to find menu in Swedish. We adults as well not quite the charm in it;) We got a lovely fish meal and got tasted the Canary potatoes qualinet again, so we were quite pleased. During the night it must have gotten into something old swell from any storms in atlanter`n it suddenly began to swing enormously. We did not sleep well that night and the next morning when we looked we found out that it was really big swells coming in. They broke right behind our boat and we found out that there was nothing particularly ok to lie there.
This day was the Swedish school for the children of Spirit and Ariane. The couple in the Spray would like some instruction so all children learned about Sweden, Astrid Lindgren, Volvo, Tre Kronor and national anthem. The kids were super happy and we adults in Spirit and Ariane got us a long morning coffee together without interference. It was also quite delicious!
In Morro Jable there is a small harbor, so we found out that we should seek shelter. We had plans to go on towards Gran Canaria on the night, while Spray and Spirit should qualinet be some. It turned out that it was easier qualinet said than done. We did not lie on the floating dock for it was broken. It was supposedly qualinet the pilot book from 2006 that it was broken, so it has probably not been so much interest about fixing it either .... It's always Manana ...;) Elisabeth Spray eventually got persuaded the port captain that we could anchor in the harbor area. Man going a little longer with some Spanish skills and Elisabeth had adequate qualinet knowledge that he let himself be persuaded. Here it was shallow and we threw out 10 meters of chain and then had 5 times the depth. We had clearance of 5 cm under the keel ... It was fine for a few hours, but do not know how easy it had been overnight ... .. It let out another German boat on anchor too and we later learned that they had been a rat on board when they lay up to the pier. UUUÆÆÆÆ, perhaps just as well that the pier was destroyed;) On the night before we were traveling it was a farewell drink with Spirit and Spray. We would take an our respective period. We should be visited in Puorto Mogan and Spray were going to Las Palmas while Spirit would be a few more days. It was a bit sad to pull apart after being together from and to almost a month, but we knew that we were going to see them all again soon!
We dropped anchor in seven- time and planned to go to Gran Canaria at night. We chose to take it as it is a shorter leg of the kids in that d
