Sigtuna is Sweden

At all times Hen been a prized dish on our table. Not least through the classical law Hens Curry. WHY we care about chickens? The simple answer is that we do not want good food commodities should be destroyed. Since 2009 we have in Sigtuna worked around sustainability issues and we know that wastage is a major problem in our society. EPA estimated in 2012 that it generated as much as 1, 2 million tons of food waste in Sweden, equivalent to 130 kg per person. Restaurants accounts for just over a tenth of that. Every year we consume nearly 2 billion eggs in Sweden. We eat them cooked, fried, poached, in pancakes and omelettes. Life as hen's pretty hard but thanks to Astrid Lindgren's struggle in the 1980s is the worst excesses of egg production gone.
