Soil: The bulbous plants (bulbs) need fertile soil and light to germinate. To gain rich foliage and beautiful flowers require sufficient amount of organic lounges plus matter, which is ensured by enriching the soil with peat moss, leaf mold or manure kalochonemeni. Significant and good soil drainage so as to avoid the risk of rot of bulbs. The soil before planting the bulbs must be cultivated and cover with deep enough lounges plus in the basic lubrication. The Freesia (Freesia spp. - Iridaceaea) is probably the only bulbous plant with early spring flowering not delight in soils with much organic matter. If Freesia planted on such soils creates many leaves and few flowers. The ideal substrate for planting freesia in pots is a mixture kipochomatos, kalochonemenis humus and manure in equal proportions. Lubrication: For good growth of bulbous plants the soil must have adequate amounts of potassium and phosphorus, while the high content of soils can adversely affect the quality of the bulbs and reduce flowering. Generally, the smaller is the bulbs, the more should be lubricated. For bulbous plants recommended basic fertilization N: P: K 1:1:2 or 1:2:2. Planting: The depth of planting depends on both the size of the bulbs and the soil composition. So in sandy soils that are lightweight, planting lounges plus becomes lounges plus a little deeper than in heavy soils (such as sandy clay). Generally the rule followed in planting bulbous provides the depth of planting to be twice or three times the larger diameter of the bulb. CAUTION: A planting little deeper than normal is better than a superficial lounges plus planting. Irrigation: The bulbous plants need watering at regular intervals with copious amounts of water because the root system is deep in the ground. During the flowering season lounges plus the irrigation needs are growing while the Irrigation lounges plus must continue after the end of flowering until dry sexes naturally. Extraction and retention of bulbs: The export lounges plus of bulbs is when the normally dry overground part. After extraction from the ground with spring flowering bulbs are left to dry in a semi-shaded place with good ventilation and then kept dry in cartons that are made small holes for good ventilation bulbs. From bulbs with summer flowering others keep in peat and others in wet sand layer.
Autumn bulbs will bloom in spring Anemone blooms from March to May. before planting kondylomorfes place the roots in water for 2 days. Tulip blooms from March to May depending on the variety. Take advantage of the great variety that exists in the colors and the form of the flowers lounges plus to create spring flower beds and "blossoming" lawns. Freesia flowers from late winter to early spring. The flowers are fragrant and form original sided floral stems, perpendicular to the main stem of the plant. CAUTION plant is sensitive to very low temperatures, and is unsuitable for areas where the temperature drops below 0 oC. Narcissus blooms earlier than the other bulb, from January to May and flowering takes 3-4 weeks. Make small bouquets with fragrant flowers and place them in vases. Will last longer than 10 days! Hyacinth lounges plus blooms naturally from February to March but after special handling (fortsarisma) may blossom from December to January. Apart from the garden and the balcony plant it as a houseplant in a small glass container. To keep the flowers longer put in a place where the temperature does not exceed 18 C.
